Here are just a few of the positive responses from our parents and kids!
I did Outward Bound in northern Maine in August of 2002. I’m still in touch with a few friends from my group at the time. I thought it was awful (being 15 and losing summer vacation), and looking back it was amazing and has definitely helped me to realize I can accomplish what I set my mind to. A big thanks to our guides James and Ryan!!
Outward Bound challenged me and made me push myself to realize I was capable of more than I could ever imagine. It was truly a life-changing experience.
Our 14 year-old just completed her second Outward Bound course and each time she has returned buoyant with a sense of accomplishment, pride, and humility. I would recommended it 100%.
I’m just a mom. I didn’t even go on an Outward Bound adventure, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t had an amazing Outward Bound experience. Mine began when my son’s program ended.
I think this experience has been absolutely life changing for her. I don’t know where she would be without it.
My daughter went into your program saying I hate nature, and came home wanting to know when the next trip begins. You gave her a hope and a future. Thank you seems inadequate.
There is not a week that goes by that my child doesn't share a funny story, an uncomfortable situation, or an incredible experience from Outward Bound. He is more confident in the outdoors and has a love of nature like never before. He's not afraid to try new things and meet people who are very different than he is.
